Bridging the Void: Online Creative Networks
As Drew Hemment and Steve Dietz both note it isn’t that new media, or Internet technologies, are catalysts for artistic change, but art has always concerned itself with life. Media technologies today are ubiquitous, more and more art is finding a representation of itself online, we should now be concerned with how this move implicates, not least, our traditional values in respect to the art object, but also its future presentation and curation where the world is at our finger tips.
After over two years of finishing my dissertation project 'Bridging the Void: Online Creative Networks' as part of my Goldsmiths University MA ICCE course I am making my paper available.

Richard Branson Kite surfing the Channel video
I was there during the day taking photos on the boats (not a fun experience). This edit was put together by myself using GoPro, Ipad and helicopter footage, edited in Adobe Premiere.
